Hi there!
As requested, this feature is now published and your clients will not receive any notifications if you turned on or off just the payment reminders.

Hi Kimberly! Thanks for your feedback. You can turn on the toggle on or off while you are creating a payment request (see the screenshot attached). In that case this setting will be applied to all invoices.
Or is your question more related to the fact that clients are being notified when you i.e. turn on the reminders?

Product Team: yes my clients are being emailed that I have edited their invoices which causes concern. Then they email me to ask if I have changed it. Reminders should NOT be an edit to the invoice

I would also like to have payment reminders chosen as a default so I don't have to turn on reminders for each invoice.

Veronica Brewer: Hi Veronica! Thank you for your feedback. We thought about it and we even did an analysis what is the most typical preference across 8,000 businesses using Maroo. You will be surprised that the results came in 50/50.
Having said that, next thing we will be doing is creating a personalized setting where each business owner will be able to define how THEY prefer to have this setting (ON or OFF) as a default option.
